Córdoba is a dynamic and ever-evolving educational hub in Argentina, well-positioned to meet the qualification standards required by businesses to boost productivity. In 2021, out of a total of 2,549,789 students nationwide, Córdoba hosted 13%, a percentage consistent in 2022.
Of the 337,086 students in 2022, 241,744 attended classes in person, while 95,342 pursued distance learning, demonstrating the versatility of the educational options available through the province’s extensive network of university centers in populated areas.
The origin of students reinforces Córdoba’s competitive position. Approximately 70.4% of students come from within the province, contributing to the development of local talent—a valuable resource for both local and international businesses based in the region.
In terms of academic offerings, the province provides a wide range of programs tailored to current labor market needs. Between 2020 and 2022, fields such as Energy Engineering, Occupational Therapy, and Food Science showed notable growth in student preferences.
