The cluster's current output goes hand in hand with a world-class innovation agenda.
Large bioethanol producers, mini-distilleries, biomass power generators, biogas producers and engineering firms, working together in a collaborative ecosystem with global reach. From Córdoba to the world.
Anchor companies producing corn bioethanol at scale and leading the national industry.
Smaller-scale bioethanol producers that diversify production and spread it across the province.
Renewable electricity from agro-industrial waste such as peanut shells.
Farm businesses that produce energy from livestock waste and grain.
Design and construction of biogas plants and technical consulting for the entire industry.
96 million kilograms to 18 countries. In 2025, the cluster generated more than US$51.7M in exports. Its top 5 destinations account for more than 94% of shipments.

The cluster's four largest companies (ACA Bio, Promaíz, Bio4 and Porta Hnos) produce 70% of all the corn bioethanol used to blend liquid fuels in Argentina.
Conceptual engineering to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and green methanol by combining green hydrogen with captured biogenic CO₂. The project has drawn interest from European embassies and is applying for funding such as Horizon Europe.
Member companies (Arinco and ACA Bio) use technology licensed from CarbonCure to inject captured CO₂ into concrete, creating "green concrete" and sharply cutting the carbon footprint of public and private construction.
Initiatives co-funded and supported by the Agency together with Bioenergy.

In the latest provincial science-industry open call, the cluster ranked second in the number of applications from researchers, showing strong academic interest in carrying out applied R&D with its companies.
The network feeds 50 to 60 MW of renewable electricity into the grid. Its medium-term goal is to sell this power in bulk directly to the province or EPEC, the provincial utility, moving away from the volatile spot market.
