A comprehensive plan for the cluster's positioning, visibility and growth

Córdoba's Business Services Cluster is rolling out a comprehensive positioning and visibility plan to broaden its reach across the sector and consolidate its growth within the province's economy. The project addresses a concrete gap: the cluster has a defined strategy but lacks the resources to execute it at the scale the sector requires, which limits new member recruitment and the visibility of collective results. The initiative runs on three fronts. The first develops an overall plan: a communications audit, digital strategy, media strategy and positioning plan. The second executes the plan across mass media and social media, combining content production, paid campaigns, press relations and metrics monitoring. The third organizes Conectar 2026, an industry networking event with 100+ participants. The project draws on strategic partnerships with Universidad Siglo 21, UNC–Campus Norte, Agencia Competitividad Córdoba, ADEC and UTN, which contribute technical expertise, outreach opportunities and institutional channels. Targets: double the membership base (from 37 to 74 companies), secure at least 3 stories in provincial media and launch new sector working groups. Premium Tourism Cluster

Building and positioning Córdoba's premium experiential tourism cluster

Córdoba's Premium Experiential Tourism Cluster, a recently formed group represented by Rutur Viajes S.R.L., is running this founding project to position Córdoba as a luxury destination in domestic and international markets. The challenge is specific: the province has a high-potential premium tourism ecosystem, but its offering is fragmented, lacks a unified signature brand, has little coordination among players, and relies on promotion that is neither conversion-driven nor tailored to the high-end segment. The cluster brings together 17 top-tier businesses: luxury estancias (El Colibrí R&C, La Paz, La Loma, Rio de Piedras, Del Pilar, Pueblo Nativo), boutique hotels (Azur Hotel & Spa, Casa Toledo, Scratch House), winery inns (La Matilde), chef-driven restaurants (Goulú, La Torgnole, Molvento), specialized DMCs (Rutur Viajes, Trip South America, Philia) and strategic partners (Aeropuertos 2000). The strategy runs on five parallel fronts. Brand identity and narrative: diagnostic survey, a premium brand story, visual and conceptual guidelines, and an internally validated brand manual. Córdoba Signature Experiences: curating a catalog of market-ready premium experiences, with pilot tests and technical validation. Digital funnel and marketing: a marketing strategy, premium photo and video content, a conversion funnel and an international awareness campaign. Institutional coordination: work with business chambers and public agencies, strategic agreements, training workshops for members and a consolidated governance plan. Commercial agreements: outreach to and negotiation with international luxury tour operators to add Córdoba to their catalogs. Delivered by the consultancy Philia. Villa María Tech Impulse Cluster (CIT)

Cluster vision: strategic communications and institutional positioning for integration and growth

The Technology Boost Cluster, represented by Cluster TIC Villa María y Región and based in Villa María, is running this project to strengthen its institutional identity and industry positioning, both internally (current members) and externally (prospective companies, institutions and ecosystem organizations). The diagnosis is clear: the cluster's communications lacked an overall strategy, professional materials and a planned digital presence, which made it harder to bring in new members, showcase collective achievements and earn recognition as a leader in the regional tech sector. The work is organized into two complementary activities. Social media strategy and management: an audit of the current digital presence, an institutional narrative and guidelines, bimonthly editorial calendars, steady content production (copy, simple graphics, reels), community management and publishing, analytics monitoring with adjustments, and training workshops with the cluster manager and members to keep the strategy going after the project ends. Design and production of institutional materials: tailored brochures (for member recruitment, with separate versions for municipalities and companies, and for sponsorship), an institutional pitch deck, a one-minute institutional video and improvements to the corporate website. Concrete target: bring in at least 40 new members in the first year, broadening the funding base and improving the cluster's financial sustainability. Aligned with SDG 8 (Decent Work, target 8.2), SDG 9 (Industry and Innovation, targets 9.5 and 9.b) and SDG 17 (Partnerships, targets 17.16 and 17.17).

Chickpea Cluster

How nitrogen nutrition and water availability during grain filling shape chickpea grain weight and quality: the physiological basis

The Córdoba Chickpea Cluster, represented by the nonprofit Asociación Civil Clúster de Garbanzos Córdoba, is leading this scientific research project in partnership with INTA and CONICET. The goal is to generate original knowledge on how nitrogen nutrition and water stress interact during chickpea grain filling, and how that interaction determines yield and final grain quality. Córdoba is Argentina's leading chickpea producer, and the crop, increasingly important in healthy diets worldwide thanks to its high protein content, faces a structural challenge: "terminal drought" during the reproductive stage, which is especially critical in the subtropical rain-fed environments where it is grown. The trials will run on a cluster member's farm in Sinsacate over two consecutive growing seasons, using two widely planted commercial cultivars in a factorial design: two levels of water availability (drip irrigation vs. rain-fed from the start of grain filling) by two levels of nitrogen fertilization (control vs. 600 kg N/ha split across three applications). The team will measure ecophysiological and biochemical variables in the field and the lab: grain growth dynamics, apparent remobilization of reserves, photosynthetic performance (Fv/Fm, ΦPSII), leaf senescence, oxidative stress (SOD, CAT, APX, MDA) and final chemical composition (protein by Kjeldahl, oil by Soxhlet, sugar profile by HPLC). The project includes the doctoral thesis of biotechnologist Mercedes González, supervised by Dr. Constanza Soledad Carrera (co-supervised by Eliana López Colomba). Results will serve breeding programs, crop modelers, growers and the export-oriented agrifood industry in developing management strategies that are resilient to climate change. Circular Economy Cluster

Institutional identity plan: strategic positioning for the Circular Economy Cluster

Córdoba's Circular Economy Cluster, a nonprofit that brings together businesses, universities and public bodies committed to the transition to circular models, is in a phase of institutional consolidation. It is running this project to build a professional communications identity and strong strategic positioning within the province's economy. The diagnosis is clear: in its early years the cluster succeeded in bringing key players together and launching relevant initiatives and projects, but it still lacks a strong communications presence that conveys its value proposition. That makes it harder to attract new private members, multiply the impact of what it has learned and build public-private-academic partnerships. The project has four complementary activities. A comprehensive institutional communications strategy: needs assessment, narrative development, visual guidelines and brand identity, a Strategic Communications Plan, and validation with the board and extended committee. An institutional digital platform: design, development and launch of a website as the central hub for information, networking and outreach, with its own UX/UI architecture, initial content and ongoing maintenance. Institutional positioning and external outreach: production of materials, stronger networks and digital presence, participation in ecosystem events and systematic tracking of new contacts. Stronger internal processes and governance: formalized procedures, internal management tools, monthly reporting and team training. The project contributes to several SDGs: 8 (Decent Work), 9 (Industry and Innovation, target 9.4 on sustainable upgrading), 11 (Sustainable Cities, target 11.6), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production, targets 12.5 and 12.6) and 17 (Multi-stakeholder Partnerships).

Oncativo Pork Cluster

Scaling up premium pork production across the province, based on the Oncativo Pork Cluster model

Córdoba holds 25% of Argentina's hog inventory and leads the country in animals sent to slaughter (28.7% of the national total), but the province's pork value chain shows high genetic variability and uneven productivity. The Oncativo Pork Value Chain Cluster (CCPO) is running an ambitious project to become a replicable pilot hub for premium pork production, by systematically introducing Duroc-Jersey genetics and then scaling the model to the north and south of the province. The evidence behind the model is solid: in comparative trials (APROCER farm), Duroc-Jersey genetics show a 10.8% increase in average daily gain, 9.4% higher slaughter weight at 168 days, mortality cut from 6% to 3%, and better color, marbling, firmness and post-mortem pH. In cured meats, salami weight loss falls from 20% (traditional recipes with beef) to 5% when made entirely with Duroc-Jersey pork. The project has two complementary phases. Phase 1, consolidation in Oncativo (6 months): training for farmers and charcuterie makers on the breed's meat qualities, carcass quality analysis, 200 doses of Duroc-Jersey semen (supplier: GenPorc/Canadian Genetics), artificial insemination training, training in premium charcuterie production (Coniglio&Cabarero), presence at local and Buenos Aires trade shows, a 360° communications plan (video, print and paid media), coverage on Agroverdad, Canal 6 Oncativo and Mitre Córdoba, and blockchain traceability via Capa-Zeta. Phase 2, province-wide rollout (months 7–12): transferring the model to 125 sows on model farms in northern and southern Córdoba, with training for 5 + 5 local farmers. Institutional partners: CEPROCOR, INTA, SENASA, the provincial Ministry of Bioagroindustry and Agencia Competitividad Córdoba. 405,440 (ARS 24.7M non-refundable grant + ARS 22.7M cash co-funding + approx. Strategic planning for Córdoba's Oil, Gas & Mining Cluster

Córdoba's Oil, Gas & Mining Cluster, represented by the Chamber of Metalworking and Component Manufacturers (CIMCC), is carrying out a formal strategic planning process to put its governance in order and build a clear, shared and sustainable roadmap. The project addresses a concrete gap: without a formal strategic plan, day-to-day governance was disorganized and it was hard to align members around common goals. The process has three sequential activities. Preparatory meetings between the board, the consultancy Trossero & Co., Magistrali Consultores and an expert facilitator to agree on scope and methodology and draft a baseline analysis of the oil & gas and mining industries. A participatory workshop with cluster members to jointly define the institution's purpose, identify problems and opportunities, build a SWOT matrix and set priority lines of action. A working session with the board to consolidate the results, validate agreements and draft the Strategic Action Plan, with objectives, lines of action, performance indicators, owners, timelines and decision-making processes. The result is a living document that sets the cluster's direction, clarifies roles and responsibilities, and strengthens the competitiveness of Córdoba-based companies able to supply the oil, gas and mining value chains. 146,000 (ARS 2,073,000 non-refundable grant + ARS 1,663,000 cash co-funding + ARS 410,000 in kind).

Peanut Cluster

Economic indicators study for the Peanut Cluster

Córdoba's Peanut Cluster, represented by the Argentine Peanut Chamber (Cámara Argentina del Maní), commissioned a rigorous, comprehensive quantitative study to measure precisely and systematically the peanut industry's economic contribution to the provincial and national economy. The need was clear: the cluster lacked an up-to-date, industry-specific analysis of its production scale and its contribution to jobs, taxes, investment and value added, which limited its ability to represent the sector before public bodies and advocate for policies that sustain its international competitiveness. The study was commissioned from IERAL – Fundación Mediterránea, which has proven expertise in sector economic analysis. It covers the entire peanut complex: not only processors but also equipment and input suppliers, consultancies, service providers and every other link in the value chain. The work has two main phases. Phase 1, data collection and interviews (months 1–4, December 2025–March 2026): planning and organization, review of official statistics, surveys and interviews with industry companies, and processing of primary data. Phase 2, estimates and reports (months 5–8, April–July 2026): calculating the value chain's gross value added, estimating direct and indirect employment, calculating its tax contribution and tax burden, building production scenarios, and drafting technical reports, an executive summary, an industry fact sheet and presentation materials. A key focus is a comparative analysis with Brazil, Argentine peanuts' main strategic competitor in international markets, to identify the local industry's competitive strengths and weaknesses. 000,000 (ARS 10M non-refundable grant + ARS 11M cash co-funding from the cluster).
