The program aims to connect large industry leaders with SMEs in their sector to improve their productivity and competitiveness.
The initiative is coordinated by the Agencia Competitividad together with Fundación Excelencia, with the participation of ProCórdoba, the province's trade and investment agency.
Vice Governor Myrian Prunotto and Minister of Economy and Public Management Guillermo Acosta led the launch of the TrACcionar Córdoba program, which aims to align goals and coordinate efforts between large firms and the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their value chains.
This will help strengthen the competitiveness of Córdoba's industries in both domestic and international markets.
The project is coordinated by the Agencia Competitividad Córdoba, chaired by Minister Acosta, in partnership with Fundación Excelencia, a business network that brings experience and methodology to the development and use of innovative management tools and systems.
ProCórdoba also takes part in its role as the province's export promotion agency.
"The province of Córdoba has a productive development policy that uses different instruments, including supply chain linkages. What TrACcionar does is select a number of companies, known as anchor companies, and through them bring in SMEs from their value chains, boosting private-sector competitiveness. For Governor Martín Llaryora's administration, driving the province's competitiveness means working to improve the quality of life of the people of Córdoba," Minister Acosta said.
Minister of Economy and Public Management Guillermo Acosta.
Along the same lines, the Vice Governor said that "launching these programs is extremely important for every productive sector, as is being able to do it with the public sector, the private sector and academia working together."
Daniel Herrero, president of Fundación Excelencia, said that "today more than ever we need to focus on the value chain, on the small and medium-sized companies that sustain the country's economic activity. Córdoba has a government that understands that Argentina's secret is strengthening its industrial sector, because being competitive is what will allow us to grow and create jobs."
The launch took place at the Centro Cívico and was attended by representatives of institutions such as Córdoba Acelera, Unión Industrial de Córdoba, Córdoba Cluster, Cluster Automotriz, FAdeA, EPEC, Bancor, Lotería de Córdoba, ASETEC, ADIMRA, CAPCA, AERCA, Cámara de Turismo and Fundación Comisión de Enlace de Entidades Agropecuarias, among others, as well as executives from companies such as IVECO, Cormetal, Dulcor, Silos Mengo, Ascanelli, Egran, Maxion Montich, Wiidem, Voyansi, Pentacom, Industria Lam, Hotel Quórum, B.Health, CMA Consultora, AYI GROUP, Discar and Capilla del Señor SRL, among others.

TrACcionar: driving development
The program centers on the synergy between leading large companies (anchor firms) and their value chains, including the small and medium-sized companies that act as their suppliers or provide procurement and logistics services (supplier firms).
Leading firms from across the province act as catalysts through their active, strategic involvement in the topics addressed during the program.
TrACcionar has clear goals and defined timelines, and delivers concrete, measurable results through a four-stage process completed in six months.
The process mainly seeks to improve productivity and efficiency, ensure production quality, and open access to new markets and business opportunities.
The program has an estimated investment of ARS 180 million, 50% funded by the province and the rest by participating firms. It aims to include 10 anchor companies, each bringing in 10 SMEs, for a total of 110 Córdoba companies working together to become more productive and competitive.
