- The Agencia Competitividad and Córdoba Acelera, the city's development agency, jointly held the Jornada Intercluster Córdoba.
- The goal was to connect clusters to encourage cooperation and improve their competitiveness.
The Jornada Intercluster Córdoba brought together 13 cluster managers from across the province at an event organized by Córdoba Acelera, the city's development agency, and the Agencia Competitividad, part of the provincial Ministry of Economy and Public Management.
The event aimed to strengthen collaboration among local clusters through collaborative environments that build their capabilities, fostering innovation, cooperation between companies and stronger regional competitiveness.
"Today, the city and the province are aligned under a single guiding principle for cluster policy. This is already recognized internationally, with active participation in organizations such as ECLAC and TCI Network," said Mariela Bercovich, president of Córdoba Acelera.
"This event was a starting point for consolidating strategic partnerships that drive economic development and competitiveness in our city and province," said Natalia Seiler, Executive Director of the Agencia Competitividad Córdoba.
The event drew active participation from a wide range of clusters, from food industries such as the alfalfa cluster to oil, gas and mining and construction, as well as services clusters such as health tourism, advertising, conventions and entertainment, and business services, plus biotechnology, fintech and the knowledge economy, among others.
The program included presentations by each cluster, followed by a business matchmaking and networking round, creating space to exchange business opportunities, collaborate across clusters and share best practices and management models.
"This connection with the knowledge and experience of different clusters will be essential to creating synergies so we can keep developing our province's productive sector," said Inés Gerbaudo of the Cluster Industrial de Petróleo, Gas y Minería.
Florencia Peláez, manager of Cluster Fintech Córdoba, said: "The event helped build interesting connections and partnerships, with the goal of positioning Córdoba as a true services export hub."
The activity was part of both organizations' commitment to promoting the creation and consolidation of clusters as a core policy for the region's economic and productive development.
Córdoba Acelera is an autonomous agency of the Municipality of Córdoba that drives productive development in the city of Córdoba and positions it on the world stage. It designs strategies and implements public policies together with the private and academic sectors to boost the city's competitiveness.
Through public-private collaboration, the Agencia Competitividad Córdoba seeks to improve the province's regional and business competitiveness with innovative public policies that benefit companies and support their growth in the face of three major transitions: energy and climate, technological and digital, and sociodemographic.
