Córdoba's Oil, Gas & Mining Industrial Cluster, represented by the Chamber of Metalworking and Component Manufacturers (CIMCC), ran a comprehensive training program built on the ProPymes ecosystem (Techint/Ternium). The goal was to close technical, management and sustainability skills gaps in member companies, most of them SMEs, and strengthen their ability to supply the oil & gas and mining value chains to industry standards.
The program covered four modules: Introduction to Oil & Gas, Business Development in Oil & Gas, Quality and Sustainability Standards, and on-site training at Fortín de Piedra (Vaca Muerta, Neuquén), which gave Córdoba teams a first-hand look at real operations at the flagship field in the Vaca Muerta formation.
Delivery followed seven sequential stages: an initial needs assessment (a survey segmented by topic); program design, defining content, target audiences and instructors; outreach and communications (flyers, registration forms, enrollment management); delivery in coordination with ProPymes professionals; results evaluation against KPIs (training hours per employee, pass rate, participants, operating cost savings, post-training improvement projects); and a closing event to collect success stories and award certificates.
730,000 (ARS 4,365,000 non-refundable grant + ARS 4,365,000 cash co-funding from the cluster). The program turned the cluster's network of companies into a learning community and gave rise to joint projects.
Strengthen the competitiveness of member companies of Córdoba's Oil, Gas & Mining Cluster through a comprehensive training program in oil & gas, business development, quality and sustainability, leveraging the tools of the ProPymes Plan (Techint/Ternium) and complementing the training with a technical visit to the Fortín de Piedra field in Vaca Muerta.
We welcome proposals that strengthen collaboration and growth among Córdoba's clusters. Tell us your idea and we'll assess it together.
