Córdoba's Automotive & Sustainable Mobility Cluster (CLAUTO), represented by the Chamber of Metalworking and Component Manufacturers (CIMCC), carried out this foundational, strategic project while formally incorporating as a nonprofit (registration with the IPJ was in progress at the time of submission). The project launched programs under the three strategic pillars of the cluster's roadmap: management innovation, talent management and sustainability.
Activity 1, CLAUTO cost structure organization and management: building a cost matrix and indicators for the main industrial activities in the auto parts chain (machining, aluminum refining, aluminum injection, stamping/assembly, exhaust system manufacturing), benchmarked against Brazil and Mexico and managed by the cluster's Competitiveness Committee. It also included the formal creation of the CLAUTO nonprofit.
Activity 2, industrial robotics training: training 25 employees of member companies in a skill that is critical to the sector's technology transformation, through a 50-hour program (24 hours of theory at a member technical institute + 26 hours of hands-on practice at real production facilities).
Activity 3, building a vision on global transitions and sustainable mobility: a series of working sessions led by automakers, visits to 5 assembly plants, exchanges with automotive clusters in benchmark countries and a final workshop to redefine the cluster's strategies and action plans in light of e-mobility and the sustainability transition.
506,406 (ARS 5M non-refundable grant + ARS 4.5M cash co-funding + ARS 1M in kind).
Deliver the first actions under CLAUTO's three strategic pillars (management innovation, talent management and sustainability) by building internationally comparable competitiveness indicators, strengthening critical capabilities in industrial robotics and defining the cluster's vision on global transitions and sustainable mobility, all while consolidating the cluster institutionally as a nonprofit.
