Cordoba Cluster

> What we do / Productive development and cluster / Córdoba Cluster Program
We are promoting significant investments in our province to foster expansion plans and transformation of productive models in sectors and companies within the framework of global transitions.

Clusters

Clusters are groups formed by companies, suppliers, clients, public and academic entities that support the production of various industries.

Their unique configuration drives and promotes sustainable job creation and growth of the productive sector, the economy, and society.

Geographic Concentration

Geographic Concentration

Companies within a cluster are often located in the same geographic region. Physical proximity facilitates face-to-face communication, collaboration, and resource sharing.

Business Scope

Business Scope

They develop in a specialized area where companies can co-compete and cooperate to promote the implementation of successful strategies.

Governance

Gobernanza

They are structured under a governance model that prioritizes horizontal collaboration instead of hierarchical pyramid. In addition, it is supported by financing and the role of a cluster manager, who facilitates effective coordination and synergy between the parties involved.

A space for the creation and promotion of clusters in strategic sectors, focused on generating jobs and increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the province.

Córdoba Cluster aims to transform the agglomerations of the main economic activities of the province into cluster initiatives, as well as to consolidate those clusters in a more advanced stage of development.

This involves a structured and organized effort to boost the growth and competitiveness of the value chain, connecting the private, public, and academia sectors.

It offers a series of actions aimed at support, networking, and financing, providing distinctive and accessible opportunities for its actors.

CLUSTER INITIATIVES

WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT A CLUSTER INITIATIVE?

PROGRAM BENEFITS

Cluster Project Incubator

We created a Project Incubator that provides technical and financial assistance to projects that pursue strategic objectives such as internationalization, technological innovation, management innovation, talent management, sustainability, or business transformation.

Co-investment and Cluster Financing

Cluster Talent

This action stands out for offering awareness-raising and professionalization activities, in order to generate training opportunities and meetings aimed at training cluster managers —those responsible for group coordination and management—and for the members of each cluster.

This diploma is aimed at cluster facilitators, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the National University of Córdoba. It is intended for training in specific content - theoretical and practical - for cluster management.

It is also aimed at facilitators linked to governance models, business models adopted at at each stage of the life cycle, productive transformation, communication strategies, project development methodology, and coordination guidelines.

The MOC Executive Program is a program belonging to the Harvard Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School, which studies the determinants of competitiveness and economic development from a microeconomic perspective.

The ICDA Business School at the Catholic University of Córdoba is part of the Harvard network, developing specific training aimed at business leaders and senior institutional management.

The proposal is framed to influence the training of competitive leaders to provide continuous training in leadership, generate a common language among the referents, and see the result in the positioning of companies in current competitiveness.

CLUSTER ECOSYSTEM

Intercluster

We promote activities, meetings, and workshops between clusters to exchange experiences and know-how. Interaction with others allows teams to identify needs and development opportunities, and also to co-design and implement solutions.

Our clusters are part of the Latin American platform of productive initiatives led by CEPAL. This enables intercluster connections across Latin America and the Caribbean, enhancing joint growth and development strategies. Being part of this network provides an integration opportunity for Córdoba-based companies in the region.

The portal aims to promote the execution of programs and policies focused on productive development through associative processes and participatory governance in regional countries, paying special attention to cluster initiatives and other experiences like business networks and value chains.

We continuously update cluster mapping in the province using a methodology developed by Harvard University and supported by Orkestra - Basque Institute of Competitiveness. We work with strategic alliances such as the Catholic University of Córdoba, the Córdoba Industrial Union, the Córdoba Stock Exchange, the Argentine Peanut Chamber, and the Municipality of Córdoba, among others.

Through this program, we articulate various actions for the support, networking, and financing of clusters in different development stages.
